Our story

Started in a family kitchen in Lagos

Mummy Rose began with one conviction: Nigerian food deserves ingredients that are clean, honest and consistent. We work directly with farming cooperatives, dry and mill in controlled batches, and pack without preservatives so every jar tastes the way it should.

Traditional milling

Stone-milled slowly, so flavour survives the process

Heat is the enemy of aroma. We mill on stone at low speed, sieve by hand and pack the same week — which is why our flours smell like the grain they came from and our pepper still bites. Nothing is bulked out with fillers. Nothing sits in a warehouse for a season.

From Nigerian farms to your kitchen

Ingredients with an address, not a barcode

Every batch is traceable to the cooperative that grew it — in Kaduna, Jos, Oyo and Benue. We pay above market, buy at harvest and dry with the farmers rather than after the fact. That relationship is the reason the taste is consistent, jar after jar.
